Fall 2014 Fourth Meeting - The UMAC Aquarium (9/18/2014, 7:30pm)
- The presentation streak continues for one more meeting as we delve into the unique biodiversity contained within the 90-gallon reef aquarium display in the Cox 184 Marine Science Lab. Come learn about all of the invertebrates, corals, and fishes now living in our club's feature tank! Also hear more details about what our animals eat and there natural behaviors and biological history at the meeting, and see what out t-shirt design is for the semester!
This is the online site for the University of Miami Aquarium Club (UMAC), an on campus student organization that's all about marine life! We are responsible for the upkeep of the tanks on UM's campus, and meet regularly to discuss the aquarium hobby and the work involved with keeping aquaria. The club also strives to educate members on new topics within the hobby, and to provide knowledge and assistance to members with personal tanks.
During the upcoming Fall 2014 Semester we will be meeting on Thursday nights at 7:30pm in Cox 184 on the University of Miami's Coral Gables campus. Feel free to contact us to learn more about the club's activities!
Remember to check out our Aquarium Blog, new posts are always popping up, and who knows, you might just learn something!
